Picture book teaching

Our school selects picture books that are rich in children’s literature content for teaching purposes. These books provide students with experiential and exploratory learning experiences by offering lifelike and relatable content. Through diverse storylines, they aim to cultivate children’s thinking skills, creativity, curiosity, and a spirit of active learning. Simultaneously, these picture books enhance students’ language abilities and foster a habit of reading.

Language teaching

Our school places a strong emphasis on cultivating reading habits. We coordinate schedules and activities to provide children with dedicated time and opportunities for reading. We also strive to help parents understand the importance of reading and offer them training in reading instruction, parent-child reading programs, and the establishment of spaces for parent-child reading, thereby enhancing opportunities for parent-child reading.

Furthermore, our school supports the development of bilingualism and trilingualism by providing different language environments. We create opportunities for children to learn languages through play and use them in their daily lives.

Positive character development

Our school places great emphasis on cultivating character and has a positive team dedicated to developing students’ individual character strengths. We strive to create a positive campus environment where children can enhance their personal character traits.

The school promotes the Five Virtues of Chinese culture: “Benevolence, Righteousness, Propriety, Wisdom, and Trustworthiness.” Through activities such as morning assemblies, traditional folk stories, games, and small tasks in daily life, children engage in experiential learning to shape their character with these virtues. This aligns with the school’s educational philosophy of nurturing individuals with moral integrity
