Experiencing Chinese cultural activities, such as planting water lilies, dragon and lion dancing, writing Spring Festival couplets, trying on traditional costumes from different Chinese ethnic groups, spinning plates, and playing with diabolo, simulates the atmosphere of a Lunar New Year market, allowing parents and children to feel the festive spirit of the New Year.

Sichuan Opera Face-Changing Performance and Painted Mask Workshop
Aims:
Through the Chinese Cultural Week and Lunar New Year activities, to promote understanding of Chinese cultural arts and Lunar New Year customs.
Contents:
Introduce of activity:We have invited Treasury Company to conduct a Sichuan Opera Face-Changing Performance and Painted Mask Workshop at our School. Through the performance and workshop, children will have the opportunity to learn about Chinese folk arts.
Aims:
Through the Chinese Cultural Week and Lunar New Year activities, participants will have the opportunity to explore Chinese culture, arts, and traditional customs associated with the Lunar New Year.
Contents:
Through the inclusion of activities such as Narcissus flower arrangement, lion and dragon dances, singing New Year songs accompanied by
traditional dance steps (such as the cross-step), writing couplets, creating New Year flowers and paintings, introducing different ethnic costumes,
experiencing and operating shadow puppetry, experiencing traditional Chinese tea art, making traditional New Year snacks (such as laughter dates and crispy sesame twists), and showcasing Sichuan Opera face-changing, children can enhance their understanding of Chinese culture, arts, and traditional customs.
Aims:
To help children understand the origins of National Day, the festive atmosphere on National Day, and to introduce them to the national flag, regional flags, and China’s development.
Contents:
Through a flag-raising ceremony, young children can learn to respect the national flag and national anthem. Additionally, a presentation can be given to introduce China’s various distinctive architectural landmarks.
